Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has claimed that the Indian government is behind the killing of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. In a statement Trudeau said, "Over the past number of weeks, Canadian security agencies have been actively pursuing credible allegations of a potential link between agents of the Government of India and the killing of a Canadian citizen, Hardeep Singh Nijjar." He also said that the killing of a “Canadian citizen” in Canada was "an unacceptable violation" of their sovereignty and that he had raised the matter with Prime Minister Modi on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Delhi. Trudeau also expelled a senior Indian diplomat. In response, India has expelled the High Commissioner of Canada.

Graeme Menzies, Director of Fulcrum Group, terms Trudeau’s allegations bizarre while pointing out that: Nijjar came to Canada on a false passport and his refugee claim was rejected; 11 days after that, he married a woman who sponsored him for immigration, which was also rejected; yet Trudeau referred to him as a “Canadian” in the House of Commons? This shows that Trudeau deliberately lied in the House of Commons of Nijjar being a Canadian, unless he had given prime ministerial sanction for granting Canadian citizenship to Nijjar. The latter of course is a possibility considering the free hand Nijjar had in Canada for promoting anti-India activities.

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly has said an Indian diplomat in Canada has been expelled. Speaking at a news conference she said, "We see this breach of sovereignty as completely unacceptable, and so, that is also why we're coming (out) with this information (of expulsion of the Indian diplomat) today." Significantly, before Trudeau left New Delhi with his delegation after an extended stay after attending the G20 Summit, Jody Thomas, Canada’s NSA had quietly left for London where she informed the UK government that Canada's relations with India were about to get worse. Was this to inform the West that the “mission” had been set in motion?

Trudeau had once remarked that he had more Sikhs in his cabinet than Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi but what he did not reveal is that his cabinet includes Khalistan sympathizers. That is why Canada permitted the so-called Khalistan rally calling to ‘Kill India’, eulogizing ‘Shaheed Nijjar’ and targeting Indian diplomats on July 8, 2023 in Toronto under the garb of freedom of expression and democracy. Both Canada and Britain go out of their way to please and support the policies of Washington.

That is why a Khalistani could pull down the Indian flag from the Indian High Commission in London and there were anti-India protests and posters galore. Also, the Indian Consulate in San Francisco was set ablaze for the second time by a group of Khalistani radicals in five months on July 2, 2023 with US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller shedding crocodile tears, as if the CIA had no prior information.

It doesn’t need much intelligence to decipher that internecine gang warfare is the reason behind the killings of Khalistanis, including Nijjar. This is because the Khalistan movement has transformed more into capturing power, controlling the narcotics trade, terrorism and taking control of the Gurudwaras (https://youtube.com/watch?v=YJU4cUn6R7A&feature=share7). A significant issue is the involvement of states like Pakistan, Canada, the UK and the US in promoting the Khalistan movement.

Political scientist and author in America, Dr. Ayesha Ray says: “what some of these with PhD in war learned early on is that Indian separatists (Sikh, Kashmiri and North East) and their educated Ivy League Gucci supporters in the Weston the left excel in diversionary tactics, deflection, lies, zero accountability.

It is intriguing for some why the US would encourage Khalistanis when it is cozying up to India in the best possible fashion? But then we haven’t really studied the American way of functioning. Witness how Europe continues to be backstabbed by the US waging war on Russia using Ukraine as the proxy and series of sanctions on Russia including energy exports.

Despite India doing its best to have good relations with Australia, Canada, the UK and the US, Khalistanis have been raising the issue of Khalistan and damaging Indian embassies and consulates abroad. So if these countries are allowing the Khalistanis to do so by design or default, let them then create Khalistan in these very countries where they have now settled.

Indian-origin Canadian MP Chandra Arya warned in July that snakes in Canada’s backyard are “raising their heads and hissing”, in an apparent reference to the rising Khalistani menace in the country. But not only are the intelligence agencies of these countries backing the plans of Khalistanis and the Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) but also the political establishment.

Why has Trudeau suddenly become so hostile to go public without even issuing a demarche and do whatever he wants in discreet fashion? There could be many reasons, some of which are mentioned below:

    • Trudeau was chastised by Modi on the sidelines of the G20 Summit for being soft on Sikh terrorists, which was amply covered in India media. His delayed departure from Delhi and packing of Jody Thomas to London appears the plan he made to accuse India of Nijjar’s killing – in revenge of being chastised by Modi.
    • This could be a backup plan of the West in case the Delhi Declaration by the G20 did not accuse Russia for invading Ukraine. Moreover, Washington’s geopolitical joker in the pack Volodymyr Zelansky was not allowed to address the summit virtually, leave aside attending in-person. After all, neo-Nazis like George Soros, Josep Borrell and Victoria Nuland have been threatening India, directly or indirectly, to cut it down to size if it does not break up with Russia.
    • Trudeau has been in the forefront of supporting America’s war in Ukraine Canada has contributed $8 billion in aid to Ukraine over the last year and a half, including $1.8 billion in military assistance - weapons, ammunition, military vehicles, drone cameras and winter clothing. Trudeau could have been “detailed” or volunteered for the tirade against India in in order to be favoured like Zelensky.
    • The separatists and their western supporters could have ‘bought’ Trudeau. After all, didn’t Pakistan buy the US for influencing the FATF for removing it from the ‘grey list’ – notwithstanding the payment was by way of ammunition.
    • Sikhs in Canada constitute 2.1 percent of the population but fringe radical elements within have obtained a disproportionate influence over Canada’s politics, especially in provinces like British Columbia where they are used by politicians to garner votes
    • While Pakistan has been working full time to promote Khalistan, with a Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) office in Karachi and aligning the SFJ with the Chinese intelligence, Canada’s Barrick Gold Corporation has signed a deal with Pakistan to mine the world's largest copper-gold deposits in Reko Diqmines in Baloch.
    • On behalf of the US, Britain has been lifting artillery/mortar shells from Pakistan for supply to Ukraine. Western largesse to Pakistan has boosted Pakistan’s proxy war on India – latest evidence being simultaneous terrorist encounters in Anantnag and Uri in J&K.
    • Trudeau’s Canada hosts some nine separatist organizations, which have links to global terrorist organizations. These include: World Sikh Organization, Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) and Babbar Khalsa. India has been periodically warning Canada but latter has been brazenly supporting these separatists and refusing requests for their deportation.

Canada claims it has been working closely with US intelligence authorities and its recent accusations against India are based on such cooperation. But it has “failed” to provide any “credible evidence” beyond “allegations” it calls credible. Trudeau was hoping for overt western support for its allegations, even a joint statement, but has failed to achieve that. He is naïve enough to realize that he would get all the underhand support from the West, but never overt. Even Britain has said, this episode would not affect trade talks with India. Trudeau has warned Canadians to be careful while travelling to India. But more theatrics can be expected from the separatist-supporter Trudeau in order to continue his geopolitical gambit.
