The Micro light aircraft started the journey from Udhampur while the hang glider started its journey from Suratgarh.

One of the highlight of this flying expedition is participation by personnel from branches of IAF other than flying including Logistics, Administration and Technical.

During the course of the expedition, the aircraft will land at selected enroute IAF bases. Students will get flying experience in these aircraft in the form of motivational rides. Personnel will also interact with the crew members and generate interest in flying-related adventure activities amongst the youth of the country.

Air Marshal JN Burma, Air Officer-in-Charge Administration of the Indian Air Force flagged off the flying machines on Friday from Air Force Station Hindan.
