Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne, Chief of the Air Staff, is on a, four day Defence Cooperation visit to Singapore from 13 Feb 2012. Leading a Composite Defence Delegation to Singapore, the Air Chief is accompanied by Vice Admiral Shekhar Sinha, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC), and other senior officials of MoD and the Armed Forces.

During his visit to the island country, the Air Chief would call on Mr Lawrence Wong, Minister of State for Defence. He would visit Air Combat Command of RSAF (Republic of Singapore Air Force) and also meet Lieutenant General Neo Kian Hong, Chief of Defence Force and Major General Ng Chee Meng, Chief of Singapore Air Force. He is likely  to discuss a wide range of bilateral issues on the ongoing defence cooperation between the two countries towards expanding the already robust bilateral military to military ties is also visit the Singapore Air Show. India and Singapore participate in exercises, exhibitions, conferences and frequently conduct exchange programmes in staff courses and training activities.
