The Indian Government has regularly revised the procurement procedures and policies for promoting active participation of the foreign and Indian private sector. To enable greater participation of the Industry (Foreign and Domestic) in Defence Production and also to familiarize the Industry about the latest Defence Procurement Policies and Procedures, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has been organising “Defence Acquisition Management Courses” since 2003 in India and abroad. The next Defence Acquisition Management Course is scheduled to be held on 18 – 19 April 2011 at Gulmohar Hall, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003.
The Defence Acquisition Management Course (DAMC) is designed to meet the needs of the Industry to understand procurement and acquisition related procedures of the Defence establishment, so as to give an impetus to the growing partnership between Defence and the Industry.
